especially if you have a minor with you and can't cut through the casino. If you park in one of the garages, you will have to walk quite a ways to get to the track. My son loved it, and he even got a pair of goggles from one of the winning jockeys! If you are going just for the races, be sure to park in the outdoor lot by the race track. We stood right on the rail by the winner's circle and weigh-in booth. In between races, you can go watch the horses in the waiting area. A horse race is run about every half hour from 7:15 to 11:30. We enjoyed an entire evening's entertainment and didn't spend a dime! Our group included my husband, my 9-year old son, and me. We went to the horse races on Friday evening, July 13.
